First Aid Training

HLTAID001 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Course duration: Four (4) hours.

This course provides participants with the confidence and competence required to perform CPR on an unconscious casualty. This training course is designed for any person whom may need to perform CPR to utilise D-R-S-A-B-C-D during the course of their employment.

This training course is taught according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This training course takes personnel through both the theory of why we do CPR and many practical exercises that emphasise the ‘how’ we perform CPR.

Subjects:

  • Assess the incident scene;
  • Conduct D-R-S-A-B-C-D (Primary Survey);
  • Provide CPR on adults, children and babies;

  • Roll patient into recovery position;
  • Handover to Medical personnel;
  • Manage a choking patient.


The course can be delivered at our purpose built training facility or onsite at your premises.

NOTE: ARC Guidelines recommend that refresher training is conducted annually.

CPR Training
HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid Training.

Course duration: One (1) day (eight (8) hours).

Our Provide First Aid Training Course is designed to train personnel in how to respond to First Aid emergencies that may happen at home, office or anywhere in daily life.

This course is taught by highly experienced emergency services instructors who have a strong background in Emergency Medical Response.

Many practical exercises are included as part of the training. This training course involves the completion of a theory workbook prior to the start of the training session (taking approximately three (3) hours) which is submitted on the morning of the training course.

This course is designed for First Aiders to manage patient care until the arrival of an Ambulance.

  • Soft Tissue Injuries;
  • Bites & Stings;
  • Eye & Facial Injuries;
  • Treating Shock and Mental Illnesses;
  • Illnesses: Epilepsy, Asthma, Stroke, Diabetes etc;
  • Managing a First Aid Room.


The course can be delivered at our purpose built training facility or onsite at your premises providing you have an area set aside for the practical scenarios.

NOTE: Refresher required every three (3) years, CPR must be updated every twelve (12) months under ARC Guidelines.
