Daniel Benseman - Business Development Manager

Daniel has worked in the fire industry for seventeen (17) years and has progressed through the organisation from a workshop based technician to Branch Manager, Major Accounts Manager and now Business Development Manager. An in-depth knowledge of active and passive fire equipment together with a demonstrated ability to delegate and supervise tasks ensures clientele and organisational outcomes are mutually achieved to a high level.

Stuart Hodnett - Operations Manager

Stuart has been exposed to a broad range of experience over the past twenty (20) years in areas including Human Resources, Business Management, conducting Occupational Safety and Health Building Inspections and more recently in managing an Emergency Management Training Company.   Stuart has extensive experience in dealing with high profile clients within the private, commercial, and industrial sectors as well as local state and federal government agencies, Customer Satisfaction is his primary focus ensuring positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

Jason Heeley - Business Development Executive

Jason has a career in the Fire Industry that spans over thirty two (32) years. He started his apprenticeship with a large international company from which was a platform to develop invaluable wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of Fire Protection and Detection Systems for commercial, industrial and resource assets. Jason ensures that the relationships formed between our valued clients and ourselves remain strong.

Craig Macey - Management Accountant

Craig is a commercially focussed Chartered Accountant with over twenty (20) years experience in financial management. Ranging from large multi-nationals to small and medium sized enterprises he has worked in multiple countries with experience gained in FMGC, engineering, retail and service based entities. He has strong financial and business process knowledge including ERP systems as both implementer and end-user.

John Clark - Manager - Electrical Projects

John has over thirty six (36) years experience in the fire and security industry in Australia and overseas.   A thorough understanding of the relevant sections of the National Construction Code (NCC) (formerly BCA) and Australian Standards (AS) relating to fire protection ensures the installations carried out by Protector Fire Services are project managed to a high level, on time and on budget and comply with all relevant standards and regulations.

Solid experience in and understanding of the requirements of consultants, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, electrical and fire contractor relationships in conjunction with vast experience in design, planning and installation of electronic fire systems, VESDA and Gaseous Suppression Systems, Networked Fire Graphic Systems and multi-system integration effectively brings cohesion and a high level of oversight to all of Protector Fire Services’ project works.

Anthony Buckland - Manager - Plumbing and Mechanical

With over thirty five (35) years experience in the Fire Protection industry, fourteen (14) years running his own company, and his qualifications as a Licenced Sprinkler Fitter, Tony has gained extensive knowledge and skill-set in the residential, commercial and construction industry’s including management of multi-million dollar high-rise projects in areas relating to mechanical and plumbing systems from design to practical completion.

Ben Armstrong - Supervisor - Special Hazards

Ben is the gaseous and engineered AFFF foam systems supervisor for Protector Fire Services. With many years experience in the fire protection industry, Ben leads our team of special hazards technicians and tradesmen. Focusing on the installation of Protectors’ exclusive engineered foam system to light and heavy vehicles, Ben’s skills ensure an exact match of risk versus fire protection required.

Aurelien Frioux - Senior Designer

With an impressive professional background in Graphic Design and a degree in Architecture, you can rest assured Aurelien has the experience and qualifications necessary to deliver high quality, site and company specific plans and drawings.   Whether you require Fire Zone plans, as-wired drawings or pressure schedule for a new system or to update current documentation, no job is too complex.

Stephen Cailes - Manager - Training Division

With vast Safety and Training industry experience, Stephen has gained skills through his work within the construction, mining, oil and gas, and chemical manufacturing industries for over ten (10) years, delivering safety and emergency response training and consulting, including two (2) years managing training organisations. With a background serving in the Royal Australian Navy for ten (10) years and Australia Federal Police for three (3) years, Stephen offers meticulous time management, excellent customer service and quality managerial skills.

Colin Keegan - Passive Fire Division

As a trade qualified carpenter, Collin has over ten (10) years experience in building design and construction and has specialised exclusively on Passive Fire System requirements for the past three (3) years acquiring a thorough knowledge of Australian Standard and NCC (formerly BCA) requirements. Proficient in job management including analysing plans and specifications through to job completion, he believes communication and honesty are vital in building and sustaining client relationships.

Ray Linwood - Branch Manager - Bunbury & South Western Region

Ray is a pro-active senior manager experienced in forging strong business relationships and is an active community participant as evidenced by his various memberships. With many years experience working within the fire and mine rescue sphere, his hands on roles have included both surface and underground fire-fighting. Rays ability to manage a cohesive team of tradesmen and technicians across the south-West region ensures speed of service and clientele satisfaction.

Ross Oakley - Branch Manager - Albany & Great Southern Region

Ross has a broad range of skills in the Fire Protection industry having worked across several divisions within Protector Fire Services.   Prior to joining the industry, Ross gained significant exposure within the electrical and electronics areas and provides our Great Southern Region clientele with proactive customer service, support and technical understanding at all times.

Leigh White - Branch Manager - Geraldton Region

Leigh is a Geraldton local and during his five (5) years experience working within the Fire Protection Industry, has developed a high level of technical skills and abilities. Core competencies include maintenance and operation of fire extinguishers, special hazard systems and AFFF foam systems extending to remote breakdown and fault finding works. As the Service Manager for our newest branch, Leigh is dedicated to increasing our regional coverage and service delivery offered to our customers.

Daniel Payne - Branch Manager - Darwin & Northern Territory Region

With extensive fire industry and service delivery experience in Australia and overseas, Daniel has rapidly developed Protectors’ exposure to the Northern Territory market. Daniels’ proven management and customer liaison skills, together with his demonstrated ability to mentor staff ensures customer satisfaction is achieved on every occasion.
